Jack Thompson, the muppet who made money-grabbing attempts to sue game producers for producing adult games has now decided to attempt to sue Facebook as he’s unhappy they haven’t immediately defended him from gamers speaking their mind on his stupid, money-grabbing antics.
Facebook groups he objects to include ones like:
Muppet.
Edit: I should add that this guy was permanently disbarred by the Florida Supreme Court after it ruled he “abused the legal system by submitting numerous, frivolous and inappropriate filings.”
I really hate this guy. Not because I’m a video game fan and he’s lashing out on video games, but because he so obviously does it for attention (and money). Hating on videogames has been the “in” thing since the new console era, and he just took it one level higher by filing a lawsuit against one of the most anticipated games of the time. There were far worse games in the past in terms of ‘inappropriate’ content, why didn’t he sue their makers?
This guy is absolutely crazy. I’m not a gamer whatsoever but I have a project I need to do in my Law Enforcement class about Violence in the Media and my partner told me to research this guy. He’s absolutely ridiculous. Most absurd sue attempts I have ever heard of.
